This dinner service, for twelve, is very rare, being English Art Deco, as opposed to continental. It is by Royal Doulton and was made in the early 30's. It comprises:

Minton Plates
One of a set of twenty Minton cabinet plates having urns to the centre within a border of gold stars on a blue ground.
Royal Doulton Cabinet Plates
One of a set of twelve Royal Doulton cabinet plates. The dark blue borders are richly gilt with antimion leaves alternating with urns, within borders of flowers and gutae, all round a white centre.
Ironstone Dinner Service
A Victorian Masons Ironstone dinner service in an Imari pattern of dark blue and iron red with rich gilding on a white ground. This is service for twelve and comprises seventy-eight pieces.
